De Gea needs a buck up performance tonight or he'll be out of Sunday's war.

Think he'll be on bench regardless of how he plays tonight .

I hope that's the case but I'd say Fergie is giving him the chance here tonight to prove himself stable again after the recent wobbles.

Quite happy with that line up, couldnt be happier really tbh

    Carrick
    Scholes
    Valencia
    Kagawa
    Nani
    Van Persie

should be a joy to watch together

Finally Nani, Valencia, Kagawa and Van Persie start together.

    I'm expecting lots of goals.

I'm thinking with De Gea, Nani needs a performance - but you're right, looks a solid side.

Now have to head back to work to cool down a bloody server room.

subs: Lindegaard, Ferdinand, Anderson, Hernandez, Welbeck, Cleverley, Fletcher

I hope he gets on! He'd receive a massive welcome from the home support!!

No Scholes on Sunday so. Not a bad line-up at all.

I suppose Fergie had to play his strongest team fcuking up so badly last year in the group stages. Hopefully there'll be a few goals.

Nice early goal here lads, please god it opens the floodgates in our favour.

When was the last time Valencia and Nani started a game together?

I may well be missing something completely but I think it was definitely last season?

The best way to cool down a load of servers is to power them all off. Maybe keep one running if it has a monitor, web access & you have a LoF account.

Glad Fergie is playing DDG. I'm not sure about this dropping him lark. Hope he plays against Liverpool too.

He needed the dropping, hope he has a good confident game tonight & controls his box like a United keeper should.

Rte blooding some new young talent. Was sad to see Kerr banished to TV3 last night as he was the find of the Euros but Sadlier looks like a top, top pundit in the making.

You can also research, why do you need to rely on RTE to tell you what you could find out for yourself?

The RTE lads are not there to inform the viewer, they are there to annoy, troll and piss off the viewer.

I... I... don't rely on RTE to tell me anything? Did I give that impression?

I'm just disappointed that a well known football pundit doesn't know much about a relatively well known player....

    Nani can't pass so far

  • Registered Users, Registered Users 2 Posts: 31,982 ✭✭✭✭Mars Bar

Nani should know to pass that ball in front of RVP

That should have been a penalty too

He didn't necessarily need to be dropped. That's not the only way you can deal with a player who has made a mistake.

Anyway, back to the game, Nani involved a lot but lacking quality.

That was brilliant play by Nani and Kagawa

  • Registered Users, Registered Users 2 Posts: 17,190 ✭✭✭✭IvySlayer

Ahh Nani, should've been 1 up.
