I tried to stay up for SNF last two weeks and was asleep on the couch by halftime

Dammit, I'll try to stay up for Ravens Patriots

Yep, Bolivia's stadium is 3,367 metres above sea level apparently. Denver's is 5,280!

That can't be right surely? My geography is pretty basic, but no way Denver is at a higher altitude to La Paz?

  • Closed Accounts Posts: 12,395 ✭✭✭✭mikemac1

    Easily explained

    Denver is 5,280 ft

    Bolivia is 11,932 ft

Paully's post has metres and feet

Denver isn't, it's called 'Mile High' because it is exactly 5,280 feet (1 mile) above sea level.

Can we please fire Mike McCoy? Idiotic playcalling in Denver.

I see a load of guys are just watching red zone now instead of games. I hate it, tried to watch it but its not like watching a football game. All you get is the fairweather stuff. You will never get a real feel for what a player is like watching that imo.

One thing redzone is good for is when your team isn't playing and you care less about any particular game and you would like to follow all your players in your fantasy leagues. Also it gives you a good idea of what games then to watch in full during the week when you are bored rather than picking through games.

Zero penalties by the Raiders today

    Broncos secondary is getting schooled.

This is starting to get painful to watch!

Broncos dead and buried. 31-11 Houston. No offensive touchdowns. We'll be lucky to break .500 this year.

Ahh the story of the game is a lot more than that tbh. Porter blew 3 coverages early but the main issue is that our offence has been ****ing putrid. They could only put up 31 points with the amount of possession they had.

You are absolutely ridiculous when the Broncos are playing. It's sad. Take a chill pill man. Jesus Christ ya piss me off and I'm sure I'm not the only one.

    Right, that's me out.

Great day of NFL today. Disappointing to be missing out on the banter during the game tonight but I just hope the Ravens get the win to top todays action off.

    Enjoy it lads.

we should never have got rid of him. Manning isn't working at all, he's passing like him too, below 50% on the day and all.

You werent saying that when you brought Manning in. I have never seen someone change their opinion so much about their own team in my entire life.

i'd seen him put together a hall of fame career up to then. typically he lands in denver and turns to total ****. No zip on his passes and cant throw downfield for ****.

  • to be fair you cant blame someone for being excited they brought in one of the greatest qbs of all time there was a chance he was still gona be the peyton of old

And wasn't that always the risk? The most well-known, well-publicised and high profile risk in the history of the NFL?

You're absolutely ridiculous. You really really are. Jesus you'd be an awful real fan for any club. The type that'd leave at half time or wouldn't go because of a couple of poor performances.

Typically it backfires. Cos nothing ever ****ing works when its the broncos.

spiralism you should support the Eagles with your negative attitude ;)

You turn on your team a few minutes into the 1st quarter

I love your posts but despair at them at the same time

All of this is irrelevant to my point. One minute Manning is god and now he is **** and Tebow was god and as soon as you got Manning and booted Tebow he was bad etc etc. Its actually hilarious reading your rants about the Broncos because it changes so often. You become a sensationalist at times also. :D

Nope, im just a whinging bastard. Not missed watching a broncos game since 08 and i've sat up watching some awful ****fests (multiple blowouts in 2010, blowing a 8-2 start in 09, blowing a 3 game lead in 08 with 3 games left) Supporting this team makes you a cynical miserable ****, fact.

Most broncos fans are like this, check out Orangemane.com right now sure.

funny i've never ragged on Tebow since he went, i loved him. Hardly unreasonable to think Peyton would be better than him as a passer though.

Oh look, an irrelevant garbage time TD appeared!

Silver-Tiger doesn't have a lot of time to post here, too busy hosting his radio show.

(The best sports rant of all time)

There's life in the Sheriff yet, but God damn it that was abysmal footwork out of Thomas. Absolutely shocking, any receiver worth his salt should be getting both feet in bounds.

Bit of life, but we're wired into life support without a doubt. Fully agreed, wish he used his footwork from atlanta there. eejit.
