sqlite, mysql, sql server express, the list is endless. Is there an Access clone as part of Open Office?

Open Office Base is probably what you're looking for:

It's 'free form', you can create any type of simple database you like, then make forms and reports like in access. Should be perfect for names/addresses

    https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/LibreOfficePart of it is:

BaseA database management program, similar to Microsoft Access. LibreOffice Base allows the creation and management of databases, preparation of forms and reports that provide end users easy access to data. Like Access, it can be used as a front-end for various database systems, including Access databases (JET), ODBC data sources, and MySQL or PostgreSQL.It's all open source, so it's not only free, but also guaranteed to stay free.
