    flying out to perth on tuesday using the a380 and a330, is there wifi or the ability to make phone calls in flight on the a380.

    A380 to the USA yes. Perth don't think so
    They're phasing it in with the other routes but you don't really know until they announce onboard.
    It's $25-30usd for 30mb. Pretty sure you can text etc if they have the OnAir capability but roaming would be hefty.
