May not be the cheapest (unless you have a friend in uk or live close to border) but it seems to be the best value from what people are saying http://www.boards.ie/vbulletin/showthread.php?t=2056653168

Currently £45 in tesco UK if you spend £30 in store

€150 on vodafone but get another sim (free tesco one for example) and port to vodafone to get it for €130.

You could get a cheaper one but personally I'd go for this just to get something that's half decent.
