Hi all! We have been experiencing an issue on site where threads have been missing the latest postings. The platform host Vanilla are working on this issue. A workaround that has been used by some is to navigate back from 1 to 10+ pages to re-sync the thread and this will then show the latest posts. Thanks, Mike.

Contacts lost - Iphone 4s

    A friend updated her iphone 4s to ios 6
    She doesn't have her own apple id and uses her husbands.
    When she updated, she lost all her own contacts and now just has her husbands on the Iphone. Everything else is normal.

    Is there anyway to fix this?
    Can she change the apple id on her phone?
    Is it related to icloud?

    Any help would be great!

    Did she backup to itunes before doing the update? If so she should be able to restore and use the last backup.

    The old contacts are probably still on the SIM if she had them on a previous phone

    I done this last year, it happens when u have 2 iphones linked to the same apple account.....
    All the contact are on the fone itself and usually not on the sim!!!
    If she has backed HER iphone up over the past few months she should be able to get her contact back from her last back up!
    there is an option to restore the fone from an earlier back up from within itunes.... cant remember how but GOOGLE should help!!!
    If the fone has never benn backed , then most likly all teh contact are gone!!!!!

    What about Icloud....or gmail....did she back up that at any stage!
