old style fuse holders needed

    hi

    does anyone know of a shop in dublin that sells the old style fuse holders that fit into the distribution board ?. The fuse holder i have is cracked and needs replacing

    Will be moving to the new style board soon but just need something to tide us over

    They might be hard to buy.
    You could try ringing some electrical contractors.
    They would often replace the older fuse boards and would use them for spares.

    we have the dz 2 and dz3 holders here, what size ampage is the fuse.

    dz2 is from 6-25 amp
    dz3 is 35-63 amp

    iam looking for the dz2's where can i pick them up from and if you had a fuse block+fuse that would be suitable for adding in a shower that would be fantastic to ?:D:D

    if you're adding a shower you'd put a rcbo into the dz board

    if adding a shower, rcbo in a little enclosure beside the existing board is a must. the rating of the rcbo will depend on the shower type so ye might need to seek advice on that.
    ill pm yer our location later and the fuse holders are only a few euro.

    or sometimes better to remove the lighting fuses and replace them with 10a mcbs and this should leave room for the rcbo too
    (this may solve your cracked holder problem)
    you will need a sparks (if your not one)
