Hi all! We have been experiencing an issue on site where threads have been missing the latest postings. The platform host Vanilla are working on this issue. A workaround that has been used by some is to navigate back from 1 to 10+ pages to re-sync the thread and this will then show the latest posts. Thanks, Mike.

1:0 in the end at Dundalk. That win last Friday must have given Shels a massive boost :D

Delighted with a draw against Sligo. Can't wait to see what they've to say bout the ref.

Happy with that. If you were backing draws for City you'd be a rich man:pac:

The tackle on Quigley wasn't a peno, but the one on Cretaro was a stone waller

This. Then again, it could have been a free out about 2 seconds before Cretaro challenge. I was in dismay when saw Massey going in. Bar that, it was good chances both sides, just with Sligo dominating possession. Keepers had even amount of saves to make. Just a much needed point.

No. Game on tv and bray away is a depressing trip. Had 300+ for most people they have to take a half day..

To the game. Ref was cat. Nice of him to blow up for full time when we were on the break.
We were bad tonight didn't seem like scoring from the chances that we had. The ginger lad no 20 I think was fond of using the elbow. Need to make a change sooner.

What odds would one get for a Saints double?

Cracking goal by Kavanagh, not much else to say on the match. How we didn't throw it away is beyond me. Tonight also reminded people of how good "Summer" football is, nights like tonight for the whole season would be horrible.

Why wouldn't he? If time is up, then time is up. Why should he favour Sligo over Bray just because Sligo happen to be on the break at the time?

They had quite a few more to the right of that pic, then quite a few under the roof, so not a bad turnout. Not like its a nearby trip when the match is on TV too.

Ah it was an awful time to blow up. They were down near the Bray goal, not just starting a counter-attack.

Shanec1928, can't really single out anyone for using the elbow to block out anyone, sure look at joey Ndo.

So one of those nights, you are just happy to be back in your Local? ;)

How many Shels supporters made it over to Dundalk anyway?

Ridiculously good goal from Evan last night, picked out the top corner from about 25 yards out

Cake, and grief counseling, will be available at the conclusion of the test

I wish, was straight home to bed for me, was up at 8.30 for work.

Not many at all, 100 max, there was two removals yesterday of two well known Shels fans fathers who passed away so a a good few were in attendance there.

A good turn and finish by Paddy for our goal.

Was hoping we were gonna push on up the table, but the thoughts of getting into the poxy Setanta Cup. :(

Understandable. There are things in life, which are more important than a football match

Fancy Rovers tonight. Seen them out in Tolka two weeks ago and watched them on Saturday and on both occasions they where awful. Really really poor!

But I don't think they can play much worse so I expect them to bounce back tonight and try to re install some pride.

Hopefully the weather eases up for the game.

Did MNS confirm whether the sending off in the City-Bohs match was a dive or a foul? I thought it was penalty on the night.

    Confirmed dive.

Looked like a dive last night.

A really, really bad one. :D

    No complaints from Ward either.

Wouldn't want to go putting anything on it. Neither of those two games would be the worst of the season.

Even Pats will beat us tonight.

    Pats 2-0 already.

    Shambolic stuff.

The only disappointment about this match so far is Shams left Gilbert out. The fans pay their money to be entertained and it doesn't get more entertaining than the Jimi Traore of the LOI.

It also seems the Shams blown in fans are gradually blowing back out again.

    Neil Doyle.

Darren meenan dislocated his shoulder twice and rovers wouldnt give the ball back to us, they not supposed to but players and fans calling him a cheat when his shoulder is up around the back of his neck is typical of them. Popped it back in the 1st time but couldnt the 2nd time.

Rovers started well, we scored dominated for an hour, then sat back and rovers hammered us in the last 20. Mc Cabe has goal of the month wrapped up, screamer. Him and Finn payed well for them.

    Gilbert suspended.

Nothing to do with his supposed middle finger to the crowd in Tallaght on Saturday so!
