Just a note to all. I wanted to get several lightning cables for my new phone. Compub said they have none at all. Apple havent released them yet in Ireland...
And that it could be a few weeks before they do...

So if you lose your cable or leave it in work etc then you have no alternatives:eek:

I dont think so, at present.

Those ones are currently only for iPhone 4 / 4S but they will be releasing most for the iPhone 5 too.

what's the point getting a slick new iphone 5 to then wrap it in a brick ??

i need help choosing a cover myself , in 2 minds about a few , i want something thats sleek and slim and doesn't make the phone out to be a brick

Cut outs look good.
Not too bulky.
Lip on screen side.
Would be ok if dropped.
Looks good.

Usually 2-3 weeks for me. I too would never use them for anything I was actually waiting on, just for spares and things I'm in no rush for.

Cpw stock gear4 edge cases. I have one. Clear backing, rubber edges, cut outs for ports and camera. Not bulky. Price ridiculous but who wants a scratched phone?

Went for a leather flip one for the change from o2 shop in town, costs 19. Happy enough with it so far.

Review here:

Make sure you use a screen protector on the back before you use that case, I have one of those plastic cases for my 4s and if you don't have a screen protector in between, the case will destroy the back of the phone through rubbing.

There is something on their website about 3for2 on accessories under €25. No mention of lightening cables though.

My bumpers @ 3euro each on ebay + Front screen protector and back protector should do the trick whilst keeping it as minimal as possible.

Those cases in carphone warehouse are day light robbery.
