Hi all! We have been experiencing an issue on site where threads have been missing the latest postings. The platform host Vanilla are working on this issue. A workaround that has been used by some is to navigate back from 1 to 10+ pages to re-sync the thread and this will then show the latest posts. Thanks, Mike.

Cilic has never lost to Isner, Grass is arguably his best surface, I don't see him losing, he should be far shorter odds IMO.
The most important aspect of the Berankis match, is that he found a way to win, he'll do so again against Isner.

Yeh an absolutely epic turnaround. Some great performances today. Warwinka and Gasquet very good. Nick K too.

Yeah great event. Dimitrov was poor. Possibly gone as far as he will. Kyrgios/Gasquet will be good.

Edit: Mattek Sands outfits are horrendous

Can anybody put me off Wawrinka, Anderson or Aza?

Did these in a treble, just traded out, don't have time to watch but looks like Azarenka is beginning to struggle in the middle of the second set.

6-2 6-0 actually, sorry if you backed it.
She went 2-0 up in 1st set and somehow managed to lose the next 12 games!

    Easy tiger!!!

I know rumors say that Serena likes sometimes to play as if she's losing then she wins it..

Very dodgy down 3-0 now winning.. Same happened in French open

  • Registered Users, Registered Users 2 Posts: 7,212 ✭✭✭shamrock55

  • Registered Users Posts: 2,051 ✭✭✭keysersoze0330

    What a chance

  • Registered Users Posts: 1,675 ✭✭✭mrdmb

This scenario happened several times... Odds were like 6/4 for Serena to win

  • Registered Users, Registered Users 2 Posts: 1,813 ✭✭✭Randomfriend

There's a chance Cilic and Isner will still be playing sometime next year.

Even i think so. Perhaps it is to get the crowd on her side. She gives some points to the "British" opponent and then wins.
She could have closed it 6-0 6-0 if she really wanted.

Agree^, think she just likes to get some adrenaline flowing, followed swiftly by dopamine. Elementary ancient hunter-gatherer behaviour mechanism, perhaps to make the chase and kill a bit more fun for the day that's in it.

  • Registered Users Posts: 989 ✭✭✭suave.4u

coming to tomorrow...Troicki to win over brown..1.53.
    looks like a good bet

  • Closed Accounts Posts: 9,586 ✭✭✭4068ac1elhodqr

x1.53 is tad short for me, any good value is probably best seek-able in '(lucky dip) picking' the Quarters winners, just a pity it's not e/w.
Still plenty of Quarters from M/F to make up a tasty treble/four from.

Or..... Someone could be placing a huge bet when she's down and odds were 6/4..cuz I rarely see players changing their momentum in the same set usually in the next set or so

  • Closed Accounts Posts: 9,586 ✭✭✭4068ac1elhodqr

Could be that too, would certainly add to the thrill and motivation to 'clear up' last minute. Was x10 pre-match for Watson.

Doesn't bear well for one of my wildcards (also at x10) against Fed. Fed looks like a regular hockey/soccer player but with the mindset usually aligned to a Russian chess master and accuracy of a part-time sniper. Ah sure anything is possible...

Really fancied Troicki for a wager tomorrow until i saw the odds..ugh.

Can't see Isner breaking Cilic tomorrow.

Monfils/ Simon and Gasquet/ Kyrgios all 10/11 or 5/6. Some great tennis regardless of the betting. Gasquet has trouble closing out matches (and he knows it) and even today faltered a bit at the end (was 40-0 up). Only a giveaway point by Dimitrov gave him the easy way out. Considering a good punt on Krygios for Monday. Any opinions either way?

I have my wager on Isner......Both players will have shoulder stiffness after firing over 30 aces each.......The question will be who can serve better after +4 hrs match ..........

    What about Kyrgios/ Gasquet?

  • Registered Users, Registered Users 2 Posts: 1,813 ✭✭✭Randomfriend

Fancy Kyrgios, Gasquet isn't the player he was, Nick has improved since their meeting last year. Would rather slightly bigger odds thou.

    Gasquet for me....

    Sat card

Basilashivi +6.5 game handicap odds 1.73

    Monfils odds 1.8

    Bacsinsky odds 2.1

Treble of Troicki kerber keys odds 5.5

  • Registered Users Posts: 1,675 ✭✭✭mrdmb

    One crazy bet

Basilashvili to win versus Agut... 3-0 Odds 14/1

Or 3-1 odds 9/1... Both booked
