Building Surveyor - Abbeyfeale

    Hi All

Can anyone reccommend a good building surveyor, who would cover the area around Abbeyfeale? We're buying a property which is generally in very good nick, but there are some issues regarding the heating system, in that the solid fuel range and boiler does not have a thermostat - also, some of the walls are the original stone, which has been left exposed for aesthetic reasons I guess, but these are pointed out in the Energy rating as loosing heat, it also reccomends getting rid of the range (it's brand new???) as not Co2 efficient, and sealing up the fireplaces!!! All the lovely things that made us like the cottage!!!

    Has anyone got any advice??

The surveyor will need to have the usual indemnity insurances etc.

We're not getting a mortgage, are buying cash so it's not needed for the bank, just to set our minds at rest about what needs doing...

    Thanks a mill!!!

    Tara
