Hi all! We have been experiencing an issue on site where threads have been missing the latest postings. The platform host Vanilla are working on this issue. A workaround that has been used by some is to navigate back from 1 to 10+ pages to re-sync the thread and this will then show the latest posts. Thanks, Mike.

MOD NOTE: Hi folks, there's a problem with viewing attachments across Boards since yesterday - hopefully as soon as it's fixed the attachments will reappear, if not we'll take it from there. Thanks.

EDIT: Just to add, could people refrain from posting attachments until this has been sorted, please? At the moment they all look like they've been posted in a galaxy far, far away, and we don't have any telescopes handy. Thank you.

I spent ages looking for the penis in those dots.

MOD NOTE: Just a reminder to please provide a translation to anything posted that isn't in English.

Thanks to Robert Foster for providing these.

Strangely, I could read the French version and understand it no problen, but the Irish version goes straight over my head (I knew the English already). I spent more years in school leaning Irish than French. I'm wondering if the French version is a pigeon-french version?!! :)

    It is from Top Gear
The episode where Clarkson drives around the BBC building in a P50 and attends that particular meeting in it.

It should be noted that this is a password reset for a chess site, and so a really easy mate in 1 puzzle is actually a good idea for a captcha.

Obviously it would be a really bad captcha idea for almost any other site.

Provided they knew how to play chess (I don't mean for the chess site, obviously). :)

  • Moderators, Sports Moderators Posts: 7,265 Mod ✭✭✭✭cdeb

Well, not if you don't know anything about chess.

You could argue that filling in the missing word in -

An bhfuil cead agam --- go dtí an leithreas

    - as a captcha makes people use their brains (which is the underlying motive of a captcha). But it would be of no benefit to those who don't know Irish.

Ok, why would you expect to see Wally in the post of the ducks? I'm failing to see why there is confusion.

Can we try keep the “the adventures of Business Regular Working Unemployed Cat” to the comic itself? It’s a bit frustrating when I see it has a new post only to see the comic not being posted.

    Sorry Capt’n btw :)

Which was the hairdresser's Porsche long before the Boxster acquired the title.
    And she has lovely hair.
