Hi all! We have been experiencing an issue on site where threads have been missing the latest postings. The platform host Vanilla are working on this issue. A workaround that has been used by some is to navigate back from 1 to 10+ pages to re-sync the thread and this will then show the latest posts. Thanks, Mike.

That's what this thread is for, among other things. Most things are self-explanatory, but if people don't get a joke or don't understand the background of a picture/gif, they come here and ask.

That instance is actually relatively common in Germany. For example, two brothers, Kevin Prince Boateng and Jerome Boateng, were both born in Germany but Kevin plays for Ghana while Jerome plays for Germany. They actually played against each other in the 2010 (?) World Cup.
Similar story with France and Algeria I'm sure. I think Karim Benzema actually qualifies for Algeria as well.
Basically, it dated back to the times where European countries had colonised parts of Africa.

I'd say 25% dont have context so while it may be cool, you have no idea what or where it is...0 -
