Hi all! We have been experiencing an issue on site where threads have been missing the latest postings. The platform host Vanilla are working on this issue. A workaround that has been used by some is to navigate back from 1 to 10+ pages to re-sync the thread and this will then show the latest posts. Thanks, Mike.

No, I was referring to the Nazi swastika (which was stolen by the Nazis from other cultures, including pre-Colombian ones - IIRC, it was a symbol representing the sun) like the one on the flag in the background: if you look at it, the "arms" are shaped like two crossed Ss, as opposed to the one in Capt'n's original images where the "arms" point in the opposite direction, like stylised Zs).

    Gotcha.

I wouldn't have thought of swastikas as being made of either two S's or two Z's.

To me they're either a 'clockwise-pointing' or an 'anticlockwise-pointing' swastika.

They have just revalued and reprinted their notes, so that bogroll will only need one note to pay for it now.

But that was a murderer crow, not a murder of crows. There's a difference.

    "Why not try..." "crime"

I spent ages reading all the titles wondering what the connection was...

Or that the crime shelf seemed more empty...

Guess I should have done a Catch phrase on it and 'say what you see!'

The Roman Empire did just as well after the first Brexit as well.

After it had already broken up, the western Roman empire was long gone by then.

It looks like they're sorting the rocks from the dirt, one is ejecting dirt and the other is throwing in rocks.

    It is just that.

One lot is what was dug up the other what's going back in but does look funny.

Shocking with the machines and technology that they would be breaking their backs when a machine in 2 grabs would have have sand dropped and rubble picked up.
