Hi all! We have been experiencing an issue on site where threads have been missing the latest postings. The platform host Vanilla are working on this issue. A workaround that has been used by some is to navigate back from 1 to 10+ pages to re-sync the thread and this will then show the latest posts. Thanks, Mike.

    what's the story behind this???

Seems to be a prank because they knew they'd be on camera. Looks awesome.

    what's the story behind this???

Guy behind the fence gets punched in the face, and the ball lands right in the middle of the D in Hyundai. I guess there was no chance anybody would catch it, so the punch may have been deliberate.

  • Registered Users, Registered Users 2 Posts: 6,461 ✭✭✭--Kaiser--

    may have been deliberate.

May have been?!? It was clearly deliberate. I hope you don't get jury duty.
I'm guessing he punched him so he'd be less likely to catch the ball, as they were both tracking the ball and hoping to catch it

It's a clearly a staged punch, you can see his hand flies right past the other guy's face. Probably just a prank cos they knew they'd be on camera.

Not lolz, but the novelty of seeing how old & poor people used to drive. OP was obviously an Audi driver.

Ah ok. We need to look at post number #2402 where the poster identified (incorrectly) the trucks badge as a Japanese brand. It was subsequently corrected in post #2,412 as a Hyundai which is a korean brand. The subsequent post about Hino does not make much sense other than the brand badge is similar to Hyundai but I suspect the poster thought that they were proving that the truck was Japanese rather than Korean.

Now I am going out for a walk as I obviously have way too much time on my hands.

Any explanations on the blue truck or Mickey Harte posts?

Incorrectly? O.K. let's be clear on one thing here, we are talking about YLYL not the Motoring forum. It was my post and I entered the text. Now at the time, I had neither the time nor inclination to Photoshop out the Hyundai logo on the front of the truck. Just call it artistic license if you will. So if some pedant comes along and takes issue with the Hyundai logo on the truck. Well that says a lot more about them than it does about me.

F*ck, am I the only one seeing this?
The heel of the palm are the breasts. The upper wrist is the stomach. The wristband is a kind of thong. The face is in the fingers somewhere, kind of made up of the bottom of the wedding finger and little finger.
    Not my post though...

    :D

I hadn't seen it before, but I can now. The index and middle fingers sort of spoil it though..

You have to squint a bit, mind...

Still looks like a hand. Is this the same thing as when someone sees a ghost in an image or if they see a face in a piece of bread or something?

So I'm gay because 1) my eyes work perfectly 2) I'm not a moron and 3) I can see it's obviously a hand which doesn't even slightly resemble a naked human?

    No need for that.

Everyone, drop discussion about that pic as it's getting out of hand (pun not intended but I'll leave it in anyway). Some people can see it, others can't. Move on.

Richie Sadlier in YLYL. Is it because it's such a minor accomplishment from so long ago? Or because it's under-18 and he's clearly in his 30s now?
