Hi all! We have been experiencing an issue on site where threads have been missing the latest postings. The platform host Vanilla are working on this issue. A workaround that has been used by some is to navigate back from 1 to 10+ pages to re-sync the thread and this will then show the latest posts. Thanks, Mike.

It is subtle. So much so I can't see it.

The gears can't turn like that. You would have to remove one of the gears for it to work.

I didn't say it wasn't cool, but it's clearly not designed to be a funny picture.

    Jimmy Fallon/Stephen Colbert 'Underwear' GIF...

This is simply not worthy of a spot in the "Funny GIFs" thread.

In it's original, video form (see from 2.38 here) it was marginally amusing, and therefore possibly merits a slot in the Random Video Thread, but am I the only one that thinks this trend towards making GIFs with subtitles should be banned?

I mean, seriously, folks, just post the phucking video!!

  • Registered Users, Registered Users 2 Posts: 5,143 ✭✭✭locum-motion

^^^ why would bother to record that and upload it? More importantly why would you think people would be interested in seeing it?
    To what are you refering?

Obviously, to your stupid cat video!

If you put four or five or six or seven or dozens of different images into one post, then even if I totally love one of them, I won't thank the post if there's another one I don't like, or one I don't get.

No, not really. Just explaining why I almost never thank multiple-picture posts.

It reads as if the tumour itself fought back and got a black belt. There should be a comma after "Boy" and one after "Tumour", so it should read :

    "Boy, paralysed by tumour,......"

As for the "No active volcanoes on the continent of Australia", well, strictly speaking it is true.

Those active volcanoes are about as close to Australia as Canada is to Ireland.

    NZ has active volcanoes...
Depends how you want to define Australia / Oceania as a continent

I don't think New Zealand would appreciate it if we called it Australia... :/ Oceania, on the other hand, is a different kettle of fish... :D
