Hi all! We have been experiencing an issue on site where threads have been missing the latest postings. The platform host Vanilla are working on this issue. A workaround that has been used by some is to navigate back from 1 to 10+ pages to re-sync the thread and this will then show the latest posts. Thanks, Mike.

It's ridiculous - 'keeping hydrated' has become so, so very important/fashionable that you have to take a bottle of water with you even when you're bringing out the bins...

No, I seriously think it's crazy she can't even leave her bottled water for the length of time it takes her to roll a bin out. Is she really going to need a drink that badly in the next 45 seconds?

    Reminds me of this, actually...

Or maybe she was going for a walk or something afterwards and not going back to the house? And more importantly why would you care or people care about the picture in general?

She's wearing no shoes, I doubt she was going for a walk, but I stand to be corrected. And this is still the Cool Vids&Pics&Links Discussion Thread... I wouldn't have actively looked for any photos to comment on (in fact as a rule I steer clear of any gossip/celebrity lifestyle magazines) but that photo was posted and what struck me more than the comment about her music was that water bottle. If that's just me, fair enough.

I didn't notice the bottle at first but it is odd.

Unlikely since she's not wearing shoes either.

Maybe she's going to finish the bottle of water, since it's tiny, and then throw it into the recycling bin she's putting out?
Maybe she's going to water some needy plant or other while she's putting out the bin...
    Maybe it doesn't matter!

Also, she's Taylor's "BFF" so in my eyes that makes her one of the good ones!

Pretty cool looking, but why does the model/actor lift his hands and put on a "i'm freaking you out/wooooo.... I'm a ghost" face to lower it into the camera?

Did he forget that it's the artwork that's the cool part?

Absolutely not. If there's something worth watching, let us know how far to fast forward. Otherwise, GTFO!

yea, no idea, gonzo nose, crowbar, fanny in the name..... None of these are funny esp considering the context.

I'd go with Fanny. Usually the safest bet in these kinds of situations.

What kind of free time do some people have? I can barely fit in Boards.ie. never mind have the time to be wasting on the likes of reddit. Oh and btw, I've seen posts in YLYL end up elsewhere several days later. It's not a one-way street.

Hate that. I've no interest in Reddit and yet you see a lot of whining here about it. I always think to myself, Why don't those that moan about Boards, just feck off to Reddit if they love it so much? Or better still, maybe they should start posting something constructive themselves, instead of bitching at other posters

Laaaaaaaame. (Not Mike's post, just the image creator's unoriginality.)
    Everyone knows Jesus,
The man who healed the lame,
    But I am Jesus' brother:
    Craig is my name.

Jesus is the Prince of Peace,
    Jesus is the Lamb,
Jesus is the Son of God,
But Craig don't give a damn.

    Because when Craig's in sight,
    We'll party all damn night!
I don't turn water into wine,
    But into cold Coors Light!

I'm not my brother, I know,
    Don't walk on H2O,
But I got hydroponic **** that me and Judas grow!

What's the point of these kinds of posts? The person who created the image clearly made up the question in the first panel, and then answered themselves.

The first picture is one of a series that were doing the rounds a couple of years ago; they were pictures of religious folk asking various questions that they seemed to think 'proved' God exists. What they actually showed (to my eyes at least, and obviously many others' eyes too) was how misguided those people were and how much of a basic misunderstanding they have of how the world works.

So, one person is asking the question. The other is answering that (really very simple) question with science.

PS: I went looking. Here is the original list of questions. A BuzzFeed staff member found 22 "self-identifying" believers in creationism in the the audience of a creationism vs evolution debate and asked them to qrite down a question they would like the other side to answer. It is quickly apparent that they haven't a fcuking clue! (Also they have terrible grammar.)

In the comments section, you can find this list of very quick answers to all 22 questions, posted by Jaye Rodger from Sydney:
Can I have a go, just for fun?
1: Yes, just not in a way that this guy deems positive.
2: Implies Nye believes in a creator and has an emotion regarding it.
3: Implies that trees and humans were created.
4: Implies Earth is an isolated system (heat and radiation from Sun disproves it immediately)
5: Implies that the Sun only exists through God.
    6: See Q4
    7: What about them?
8: Implies life has a meaning.
    9: Yes.
10: Good for her. Maybe she would like to elaborate. If not, I'm not going to hold it against her.
11: Implies all of us dismiss one myth while holding onto others.
12: False. More than one hominid has been found. Further, proof is not determined by the number of pieces of evidence, but by the strength of the pieces of evidence. Example: If there is only one winner of a lottery, does that mean that there was no lottery because we don't have hundreds of "official winners"?
13: Yes. Or more accurately, it doesn't disprove evolution.
14: You don't understand what a "theory" is. Gravity is also a theory.
    15: See Q14
16: Down Syndrome. There are many others. Don't assume that an increase in genes equals an increase in evolutionary sustainability.
    17: See Q8
    18: False. See Q12
19: Yes. But it isn't so much "believing" as it is "knowing" and to label it a belief is a red herring. The energy created by the big bang is still observable today. The evidence is there that the big bang occurred. For example, the "glow" of light waves tell us that the universe is expanding. It is simple to reverse this expansion back to a singe point,
20: Beauty does not equal creation. For all the beauty in the world, there is also a lot of repulsion. Germs, diseases, famine, greed, crime. If a creator created all, it created the bad with the good.
21: The Big Bang was not an exploding star.
22: Does not understand evolution in the slightest. I came from my parents. Why do they still exist?
