Hi all! We have been experiencing an issue on site where threads have been missing the latest postings. The platform host Vanilla are working on this issue. A workaround that has been used by some is to navigate back from 1 to 10+ pages to re-sync the thread and this will then show the latest posts. Thanks, Mike.

Found a purse with cash..

Ok so I found a purse with bank cards and cash in it. My first instinct is to pass it into the garda station and hope that the owner contacts them to reclaim it. But... what if they don't think about going to that garda station.. What then? Do the guards pocket the cash and dump the contents or is there another way they do…

I found a purse on the dart before, call the bank.

If you tell them about the lost bag and leave your number they'll call the owner and let them know.

Ring the bank. I did this before and they won't give you the details but will phone the person and give them yours.

I visited a Garda station recently to collect my nephews schoolbag (a local shopkeeper said he had handed it in). When I got there they had 4 school bags for me to choose from, they hadn't even thought of looking inside for names on books. Last place I'd drop anything in, unless I suspected it stolen.

I found a wallet before and rang AIB and they called the person to tell him I had his wallet.(they passed on my number and he rang me back) we met and I gave him his wallet. moany pric barely said thanks.
