Disturbance in Cork city

    Noticed a disturbance on Wandesford quay just there. Lots of garda sirens going all evening and about 10 mins ago they converged on Wandesford Quay. Saw a half struggle, 2 guys on foot running away and lots of gardai/garda cars around who didn't manage to accost them. They were running up by the bridge when they escaped from view. Garda motorbike left on the ground...couple more cars arrived just after they escaped...I presume the chase is ongoing.

    Anyone know what's up?
