    Hi all,
Is there a cheap fencelife alternative ?

I though I saw a post on boards before where someone said about B&Q doind a cheap version, but I can't find it now - D'Oh !

I've used the 5 year fencelife with 2 coats and it didn't last one year - it's absolutely crap (this was on post and rail fencing).
I'd rather get cheaper stuff and at least I know I'd have to re-paint it every year or 2.
Burnt oil / creosote isn't an alternative as it for around the house, and I don't want it sweating or any small kids going near it....

"Ridgewood" water based coloured stain....(black,green,brown,grey and red)

Its made by Fleetwood here in Ireland. Its around 10-13 euro for a 9 litre tub (depending on where you buy it).

    Pet Friendly
    Plant friendly
    Anti fade
    Water Repellent
    Last for 5 years

    Its very good stuff indeed.

I,ll post some pics of it later on.:)

Fleetwood Trade Paints,B&Q,Woodies and some builders providers too.

You may need to shop around for the best price though.;)

    10-13 euro or there abouts.

Holds up rather well to the elements too.:)

Interestingly, it says it's not sprayable - but it's water based : clicky
    I reckon it's sprayable...
