FORMER President Bill Clinton is to visit Limerick in November for an awards ceremony in the University of Limerick.

Mr Clinton will come to Limerick on November 17 for the annual All Ireland Scholarship awards ceremony, sponsored by JP McManus.

The former president, who previously visited in Limerick in 1998, delivering a powerful speech on O’Connell Street to thousands of people, will be a guest of honour at the awards ceremony, at which he will present 125 students with a third-level scholarship certificate in the University Concert Hall.

Ah, the man who brought us NAFTA and the repeal of the Glass-Steagall act, which have had a large part to play in the current economic crisis, is back in Limerick to bask in his own glory again. He also has an extremely questionable history of coercive sexual behaviour towards women. I won't be anywhere near UL on that day, to watch that reprobate being fawned over.
