Hi ive recently started fishing on a well known co waterford river for salmon and trout. Just wondering can anyone give me a heads up on the rules and regs :)

Hey man, I am new to trout fishing also! Started in July.
You'll find all of the rules on the irish inland fisheries website. I'd struggle to remember them all. But sure the salmon season is over dude, and most rivers across Ireland will see the ending of the trout season this weekend. Hate to tell ya, but as far as i know there's no more fishing on rivers for either salmon or trout.
