Best of luck tomorrow. Take some time during the race to soak up the atmosphere. Get a kiss from the Wellesley girls and take a beer from the Boston College lads! ;-)

    It's a magical race!

Just for those late coming to the thread you can add names and track runners on http://www.baa.org/individual.html

You can add all the numbers you want by comma separated list.

Just in Massachusetts. It celebrates the first shots fired against the British in our Revolution at Lexington and Concord. Boston is always on Patriots Day which is always a Monday.

Joe was listed as already start before the elite men even started so there might just be a timing error (hopefully)

He should've been off, just behind the elite runners (wave 1, pen 1). Hopefully an electronics glitch.

What are you basing the projection on, a flat marathon pace, or is it specific to Boston course?

Boston site gives projections based on average pace hard to judge due to a) downhill nature of the first six mile and b) conservative nature of a start to a marathon from most people
