Day trips around Sydney

Hi all, With the long weekend coming up anyone have any suggestions for good day trips around sydney. Have a car so anywhere within an hour or two of Sydney. We have done the blue mountains and hunter valley already. Any suggestions would be greatly appreciated. Thanks Doodaas

Have you been to Palm Beach? There's a lovely walk to the Barrenjoey Lighthouse. You can also get the ferry to Ettalong and back which is pretty. There's a gorgeous restaurant (www.jonahs.com.au) close to Palm Beach which has the most amazing viewpoint of Whale Beach and the surrounding areas. The menu is pricy but so worth it. Avalon and Newport beach which are down from Palm Beach are lovely as well and well worth a view.
