Hi all! We have been experiencing an issue on site where threads have been missing the latest postings. The platform host Vanilla are working on this issue. A workaround that has been used by some is to navigate back from 1 to 10+ pages to re-sync the thread and this will then show the latest posts. Thanks, Mike.

    Yup. :o

I thought it was a Radio station when I first heard it.

That cup has gone through some bad sponsorship names, I think your one above takes the winner for the worst one.

    :pac:

Suggest watching a decent game like Juve Fiorentina instead tonight.

Because thats what you when you are a chelsea supporter, watch other teams when your team is playing! :p

Interesting suggestion though -maybe extend the idea out a little and create a thread entitled
"other matches you may enjoy whilst your own team is playing!" ;)

    It might catch on........!

If its on ESPN I'll record it. I have training as it stands anyway so I'll miss the first half of most matches.

You can mark it down as a watching brief for future CL match against Juve if you really need a Chelsea link to enjoy a game! Or you can suffer through a ****ty league cup match in order to keep up a pretence of a superfan when there's far superior/more enjoyable games elsewhere.

If my traiing is cancelled I'll be watching the Chelsea game, have Juventus in an accumaltor to draw so going to streaming the 2nd half of the Chelsea game and watching the Juve game in the background.

I'm hoping to see some of our fringe players do well as no doubt at some point they'll be called upon to do a job for the first team and its a good competition to give these guys games.

Lol, look at me being heckled for wanting to watch some of my own clubs squad players! - oh , the indiginity!

(what is a "superfan" btw, cos it sounds, well, SUPER! ;))

I liked how it has been called the "Milk" Cup and "Coca Cola" cup. At least that sounded like it made some sense. Even "Worthington" and "Carling" are along those lines but they might have tried changing the trophy into a pint glass for those years.

Capital One is probably the biggest company to ever sponsor the league cup

EDIT - apart from Coca Cola

Chelsea team for Wolves: Turnbull, Azpilicueta, Cahill, Terry, Bertrand, Ramires, Romeu, Piazon, Mata, Moses, Torres.

Nice blend of youth and experience there, would have liked to see Marin instead of Mata though.

Chelsea subs for Wolves: Hilario, Ferreira, David Luiz, Mikel, Oscar, Hazard, Marin.

Sturridge must be still out. Id be whipping Torres early for Marin if we're comfortable and throw Moses upfront.

    4-1 Moses :pac:

Scorig goals against any side prior to a huge game at the weekend will do his confidence no harm.

3-0 Mata! Sounded like a good move with Torres.

  • Registered Users, Registered Users 2 Posts: 53,262 ✭✭✭✭GavRedKing

Its turning into a mauling, at least its not going to a 0-0 upto the 80 minute and we get caught. Resting some players while still winning comfortably is very good.

12.15 am tomorrow (or technically day after tomorrow) is the highlights show, jebus, wonder why the bbc bother, it would be better if Channel 5 or someone got the rights, maybe put a bit more effort into it. I know its a mickey mouse cup (unless you are a Liverpool fan) but still.
