Hi all! We have been experiencing an issue on site where threads have been missing the latest postings. The platform host Vanilla are working on this issue. A workaround that has been used by some is to navigate back from 1 to 10+ pages to re-sync the thread and this will then show the latest posts. Thanks, Mike.

Student discount for the new iPad?

    Hi there,

    I'm looking to find the best place to get student discount on the new iPad (3, I think?). Can anyone advise me on where and what's the best percentage I can get (with the Student Travelcard or not)?

    Any help whatsoever would be great. :)

    I didn't think you could get a discount on the iPad! And I only bought one around 2 months ago!! Raging if I find out I could've had a discount on it! :(

    Apple encourage students to save on iPads by asking their parents to buy it for them. :D

    That's basically what all their marketing emails say.

    Yeah, I don't see any discounts on the Apple homepage. I mean, is there any discounts given in other stores?

    Apple usually set up an info point in colleges with some discounts. Not huge or anything.

    Im getting one from America shortly. €100 cheaper

    Best bet if you want a cheap iPad is to get it from the Refurb store on the Apple Store. About €50 off the current price.
