Which race previously thought as extinct had a "phantom army" that appeared out of thin air and destroyed entire colonies before disappearing?

Sorry Ivy, that wasn't a question. But i think that WAS the first ep that a Galaxy class was destroyed, Capt Donald Varley's USS Yamato

Actually that wiould be a good question, I wonder how many Galaxy class ships HAVE been destroyed on screen.

Off the top of my head, there's The Enterprise-D a number of times, the Yamato, The Oddessy. Wonder what other ships were lost..

Damn, they're on the tip of my tongue but can't quite recall them! Was Toms one to do with a shuttle flight or something?

Yeah I'm sure many trekkies had a similar scenario to Harry's dream in the old memory bank. I mean, Jeri did look fantastic in the suit.

To be honest, I think the writers were giving a sly nod to the fans with the scene. :)

I'll ask one, seeing as the nightmare one is more or less answered.

    An easy enough one.

The actor that plays the Captain of the USS Lakota in DS9 appears as another character in another Star Trek series. Name the character?

Name the Romulan who served on the Defiant.
For a bonus point, name the other character the actor played.

    now.... question time....

Simple enough one. Who was the captain of the Pegasus?

Bonus points, what happens to Riker at the end of the episode

Extra Special bonus question (one that i don't know the answer to so you will get virtual synthahol hoisted in your direction if you can answer) How Many Galaxy class ships have been lost on screen?

Erik Pressman. Riker gets put in the brig, but Picard releases him.

2 Enterprise D in Generations and the Odyssey?
Now these are ones which are explicityly shown.

In TNG the Ents sister ship is "lost" but doesnt show it blowing up iirc

No 3 - you missed the Yamato in the episode with the Iconians.

Yamato is blown up in orbit over Iconia.

Ent-D is destroyed a load of times before eventually being lost in Generations.

Is it only those 3? Ent-D, Odyssey and Yamato?

That's the Yamato. Then she is also destroyed over iconia.

Your right, I forgot it was. And I suppose double destructions dont count. Otherwise the number would be in the hundreds with the amount of times the D was destroyed.

All in the finale of TNG.. 2 Ent D's were destroyed...

Yep, scratch 4x Enerprises in Cause and Effect.

There's also the Borg controlled universe Enterprise that blew up in Parallels.
