Director on the Dole

    Hi

    I'm starting up a new company and was going to get my other half (who doesn't live with me) to be a director. The thing is that shes on the dole. If shes a director with no share holding - would she lose her dole?

    Not an expert but unless she is getting an income from it I very much doubt it would matter.

    That's what I thought, I'm putting myself down as a 100% share holder and her as a non salary director
