Budget gaming pc build!

So i'd like to build a pc that would run stuff like skyrim,minecraft and fallout. I don't really know exactly what i need maybe someone could suggest a couple of builds. Thanks.
1. What is your budget? [€600]

2. What will be the main purpose of the computer? [Gaming(Skyrim,minecraft,call of duty)Internet]

3. Do you need a copy of Windows? [No]

4. Can you use any parts from an old computer? No

5. Do you need a monitor? [No] I'm just going to use my tv for now its got hdmi ports.

6. Do you need any of these peripherals? i need a Keyboard,Mouse,Wireless Card and a card reader.

7. Are you willing to try overclocking? Yes

8. How can you pay? Credit Card

9. When are you purchasing? in the next month

10. If you need help building it, where are you based? Kilkenny.

Wow, thanks so much for that!! I'm getting the graphics card for my birthday so i'd probably have an extra €100. Would €100 extra make much of a diffrence?

With the extra money, you might be able to squeeze an Intel build into it. This would give you a lot more processing power. Though many games won't need it and depend more heavily on the graphics card, some will make use of it and it should make your system last a lot longer without upgrading the CPU.

Alternatively, if you use the PC a lot for general stuff, you might like an SSD which would give you very fast boot times and quick opening of programs.

If i did the intel build now could i add the ssd at a later time? For the intel would i just swap out the amd phenom for the intel or would i need to change other components? Thanks.

You could add an SSD at a later time. You'd want to make sure you have a retail version of Windows though so you can install it multiple times.

You'd need to change the motherboard also.

With the extra €100 you could get an i5 cpu, either 2500k or 3570k being your best bet.

I think that you should go for the 3570K. There's just €10 between them.

If you're between minds on the platform you want to go with, you might consider holding off buying until the end of October. AMD are supposed to be coming out with a new processor based on the Piledriver architecture. Even though this is more of an update than an overhaul of their current line, they might pull something out of the bag, and at the very least it will mean a drop in the prices of their older processors.

Go for the Samsung.

Get an extra SATA cable too. Looks good apart from that.

Merc Beta will be back in stock on the 4th. Other good cases around that price would be the Xigmatek Asgard or Asgard III.
