Hi all! We have been experiencing an issue on site where threads have been missing the latest postings. The platform host Vanilla are working on this issue. A workaround that has been used by some is to navigate back from 1 to 10+ pages to re-sync the thread and this will then show the latest posts. Thanks, Mike.

Obviously I'm not looking for serious posts here, hence I'm posting in AH.

Anyway, I have an audition for a big TV show, where I have to sing two songs. I'm leaving my house in two hours for it.

In those two hours, I fully expect lots of posts where you wonderful posters tell me ways to make myself stand out from the other contestants so that I get through to the next phase!

    AH, I need your help!:pac:

Unfortunately, too late for that. I haven't slept for two days. :pac:

Your location is marked as Dublin. You need to leave in two hours (we'll assume you meant at 2AM so you leave at 4AM).

I strongly suggest you learn some stranger danger detection methods (like meeting strange people at 4AM from the internet).

    Good luck :)

The voice don't care how you look and neither do we but give us a look anyway. Make sure your hair is straight.

OP don't want to make you nervous or anything but should you not of had your songs picked out a few months ago? If the bloke from the script is there pick one of his.

You lot don't need to see how I look, enough boardsies do already! I'm average, nothing gorgeous, nothing ugly. :)

I have my songs picked out, thankfully. I'm just nervous as I have a chest infection, so need some light hearted advice to perk me up a bit. :)

    Good for you!!

Will be watcin out for you;)

    BTW
    For the chest infection??

A couple of puffs of a ventolin inhaler before you go on(even if you are not asthmatic, borrow, beg or nick one:D)and you'll be able to sing your heart out.

also, what song are you planning to sing?

Try not worry just do your best. We will not make fun of you at all MUCH :p

I'm doing the UK Voice, not the Irish one! :pac: Plus, have to do chart hits that are popular, according to the invite. I'd rather do a bit of Metallica, but I doubt they'd approve too much!

I have never seen this show tbh, the Uk one all the more reason to cause a stir with a rebel song. You could sing a Dana number.

Since you wanted to do a Metallica one, why not walk up and say "if I don't get it... so fúcking what" and then start singing "So What"?

And for your second song just repeat it.
