Smasung Smart TV on Pixmania...

Wondering what ye think of this? Bargain wise and just buying from pixmania in general. Havent heard good things about them.
Presuming this is saorview capable as well? And can you use this to get european satellite without the aid of an additional box?

Also is it possible to record onto an external hardrive via the usb?

Having said that, that unit advertises itself as Freeview. My understanding is that it has to support Freeview HD [mpeg4] to be anywhere comparable with Saorview.

It doesn't look to be a DVR but it does appear to have Time Shift.

I'm not going to stand over the timeshift capability of this TV other than it's mentioned on Pixmania. I don't know how much storage [if any] the TV has. You may have to provide your own.

What exactly did you buy? The link in the OP doesn't point to a specific tv. Any recent Samsung model should 'pick up' Saorview, if you have connected the necessary aerial.

It's configured for French TV. He probably needs to change country and re-tune.

Also saw this from Pixmania and am tempted. Is this a mistake?! Have used them before without issue.

I use Sky so tuner not really an issue, given it will no doubt be a Euro set can I expect any compatibility issues? Euro plug as well no doubt.
