Hi all! We have been experiencing an issue on site where threads have been missing the latest postings. The platform host Vanilla are working on this issue. A workaround that has been used by some is to navigate back from 1 to 10+ pages to re-sync the thread and this will then show the latest posts. Thanks, Mike.

I've started college recently and have a mac pro. Unfortunately we are doing a computer programming module so I need to run a Microsoft programme for c# language. So I have 2 real options
1 set up Microsoft on my mac, how do I do this? what is the cost and disadvantages?
    or
2 buy the cheapest windows 7 laptop i can find seen some on Argos for 330 euro but could I get cheaper ? If going down this route I wouldn't care about brands just a simple laptop? It would only be used for the programme and I would eventually pass it on to my brother a I prefer mac.

Any help would be gratefully appreciated as I just want the cheapest way to get windows on my mac without ruining it or just some links to cheap windows 7 laptops. Thanks.

You might be able to get Windows 7 for free - some colleges offer it!

And Boot Camp should come free / preinstalled with Mac OS 10.7 (Mountain Lion) onwards.

Thanks for all your help. Just if I wanted to buy another laptop where would be the best place to go be? As it might suit the household as we need another laptop anyway. One for 370 euro or less if possible.
