Intel B950 instead of a Core i3 dilema!

I bought a laptop from argos. http://www.argos.co.uk/static/Product/partNumber/5088687/Trail/searchtext%3ESAMSUNG+300VS.htm#pdpFullProductInformation According to the webpage it has a Pentium duel core processor but according to the questions and answers section, it has a Intel Core i3- 2350m processor. Having seen other laptops on the site with the wrong information which was corrected in the Q & A section I trusted the more up to date info there and expected to get a laptop with a Core i3.

However, it's just been delivered and it says on the box that it has an Intel B950.

I've spent weeks and weeks looking at laptops and trying to decide what size, make etc and eventually decided on this one. I love it though haven't turned it on yet. But am a bit annoyed about the CPU.... but could I live with it? it isn't rubbish is it? Would the i3 have been a whole lot better? I'll just be using the laptop for tinternet, emailing and a bit of studying! No gaming.


Any advice appreciated as I don't have a clue about this kind of thing.

The i3 would probably have been a better bet (IMO)

There are a lot of similarities between the two but the i3 is definitely the better choice.

Thanks for the replies. I've emailed Argos saying that the info on their website was misleading but I kind of know they will just tell me to send it back for a refund. I could do that and spend a bit more and buy the same laptop with a better processor. But just wondering if it's worth bothering.... would I really notice the difference?
