Just in the door from the hurling to see that Denver scoreline..! Were they as good as it suggests?

Cardinals are just ridiculous, going to another overtime!

  • Registered Users, Registered Users 2 Posts: 10,386 ✭✭✭✭DDC1990

Bucs working it back from 18 points down, now just 2.

Billy Cundiff being Billy Cundiff for the Skins missed all 3 FG's, 41.57 and 31.

Bucs penalties really hurting them, but Freeman had an abysmal 1st half, but unreal second half.

Cardinals go 4-0, honestly never could have seen that coming. They get it done when it matters though.

Shaping up to be a great last few minutes.

  • Registered Users, Registered Users 2 Posts: 10,386 ✭✭✭✭DDC1990

Bucs take a 1 point lead with 1:45 to play.

    Redskins have 1 Timeout left!

Bucs D havn't given up a point in the 2nd half.
    (Thanks Cundiff)

    GO D!!!

In fieldgoal range, although it is Cundiff

I love the way last years most accurate kicker ruined his reputation on that choke in New England

...and rightly so. Clutch kicks are all that matters in a kicker. If i were scouting kickers to potentially sign, id give them one shot from 40 yards with pumped in crowd noise and freeze them. If they nailed it, they got the job, if not, they havent got the bottle.

  • Registered Users, Registered Users 2 Posts: 28,710 ✭✭✭✭Paully D

Saints are now 0-4. Unbelievable really, never seen that coming.

In fairness he was awful well before the miss in NE.

    Finally, he nails one :)

To be fair it was either them 0-4 or packers 1-3. Both a bit mad

  • Registered Users, Registered Users 2 Posts: 10,386 ✭✭✭✭DDC1990

    **** sake.

Bucs lose a tight one again.

    0-3 vs NFC East

After such a good half they let RG3 walk through them on the last drive.

    Sick.

I'm not sure what people expected? They were eviscerated by Goodell. Can't understand how people didn't think the punishment wouldn't have a huge impact, Brees or not.

    I expected 2-2 not 0-4.

    +1

It's not as if Sean Payton stood on the sideline taking a piss. Not only that but Gregg Williams was able to make a very average defence look good through a nice mixture of risky schemes and cheating. Not only that but their best two in the secondary in Sharper and Porter have retired and jumped ship over the last two years respectively. This was brewing

Same as. Shows how much important Payton has as signalcaller.

Yeah, but even the Chiefs and Panthers aren't some sideshow, these are professional outfits. You can't play with a handicap in this league. You're probably looking at a small enough margin between 16-0 and 0-16. Look how long it took the Saints to go from mediocre to SB champs. Look how long it took Detroit to go from 0-16 to the playoffs. Yeah, I'm surprised too that they're 0-4 but thinking about it, it shouldn't be a surprise. It's like playing with one hand behind their backs.

I know it's pure cheesy but does anyone else enjoy Faith Hill's Sunday Night Football song for some reason :o

On a far more serious note - lets go Eagles, kick the ****e out of these Giant bastards :D nothing like a good NFC East rivalry matchup late Sunday night

  • Registered Users, Registered Users 2 Posts: 6,299 ✭✭✭spiralism

Brian Dawkins retiring as an Eagle there. In all fairness, what a ****ing legend. Loved him as a Bronco.

Frightening how easily they got dominated there. Manning could be eating a lot of grass tonight unless they pick it up :(

  • Registered Users, Registered Users 2 Posts: 6,299 ✭✭✭spiralism

Eagles defence is awesome though, if they had anybody half competent running it theyd be top 5 in most categories, if not all. Only Houston and Baltimore have as many great players across the D

245 yards receiving and I don't even remember him from hard knocks :O

He was injured for the entirity of camp. Was always going to be the Phins best receiver when healthy. Deceptively fast and very good hands. Finally got a QB to get him the ball.

Other than that, typical Dolphins. Its the nature of the defeat that really gets me.

Run defence is the best in the league and we're still 1-3. Couldn't stop the pass despite pressuring the quarterback constantly.

Tannehill is showing a lot of promise, more than I'd thought but he still makes errors. To be expected from a rookie.

Yep. Last week was a smoke screen for how bad our OL is.

And that's with Ireland not giving him any damn weapons. Although Hartline has really stepped up, to his credit.

Team could easily be 3-1 right now.

Not like the Eagles O-line is much better... feeling the complete opposite of confident about this one. :(

  • Registered Users, Registered Users 2 Posts: 6,299 ✭✭✭spiralism

You'd think with Reid's background in the Offensive Line that the Eagles wouldn't get blown up for holding 15 times a match

  • Registered Users, Registered Users 2 Posts: 10,366 ✭✭✭✭Kylo Ren

I do love our defense however.
