I prefer pubs to be a bit quieter anyway, and particularly despise the crowds of stupid people on the day in September in the last few years when Diageo have held extensive promotions for Guinness.

The funny thing is that it was reported Arthurs Day was meant to just be a once off. But due to the success they had they couldnt just turn their nose at it. Had to make it a yearly thing. Dont tell me other companies werent noticing

I reckon over the next few years we are going to get all sorts of so called celebration days.
