Hi all! We have been experiencing an issue on site where threads have been missing the latest postings. The platform host Vanilla are working on this issue. A workaround that has been used by some is to navigate back from 1 to 10+ pages to re-sync the thread and this will then show the latest posts. Thanks, Mike.

Why do some people insist on getting a read receipt, when the recipient will almost always say "No" when asked if they want to send back a read receipt.
    WHY I ASK !!!

It is, of course, so the sender has confirmation of delivery of the mail for their own records. Whether you agree with the practice or not, that, in essence, is what it is for.

So when you ignore it and and don't do what you were asked, the sender has proof you were told and he/she is off the hook.

Eh... why don't you just change your settings so it never sends read-receipts? Then you don't have to wonder why people insist on it
