I work in a small Software Dev Team.

We currently use roundup for tracking bugs/projects.

What alternatives are there out there, what are people using?

We get a decent amount of bugs, and constantly have new projects being handfed to us. But its very unstructerd - when we get a new project I add it in as a "BUG" essentially in roundup.

    What should i be using?

Asana is a pretty nifty task tracker that I use.

Harvest is a cool time tracker from the guys at Happy Cog.

    Github?
