    All,

Currently have standard temp dial thermostats (like in pic) upstairs and downstairs.

Have a CH / HW timer switch on the boiler.

We would like hot water only to come on @ say 5 am , heat to come on upstairs @ 6.45 and heat downstairs at 7.15 and reverse in evenings without having to meddle with the thermostats.

does anyone know of simple thermostats that can be set to a temp but also to only come on/off within certain time ranges ?

    ta.

    think this may suit
it would depend on whether on not your upstairs and downstairs are zoned independently or not(plumber would advise)
use these stats for the central heating
use your existing timeclock to control the hot water
use the existing timeclock to control central heating times but allow the new thermostats to determine whether or not the zones switch on

you may need an electrician and plumber for this
