are you allowed use the machines and stuff in bolton street for personal use?
if ya wanna experiment or use lathes etc?
presuming you have your own metals or whatever is expendable.
whod be in charge of that sorta thing

You just need to ask one of the technicians if you can use the lab. You need a technician present to use the labs.
The final year students will be around Wednesday afternoon and Friday mornings for project work. That is the best time to get stuff done.

Not really sure about personal use. You might need to have a specific college project to do.

I don't think you'd be allowed to use the machines for anything other than a very small one off job, if that. It kina has to be for college related stuff.

There is more of a cost to using machines than just the material. They consume a lot of power, cutting bits are very expensive, and it would mean more cleaning and maintianance.

By all means ask, no harm in trying but you'd want to do it sooner rather than later since demand will increase throughout the year with people doing projects.
