Type "Budd Dwyer famous" into Google and it's the first result.

I haven't watched it so I don't know if Budd Dwyer is still alive or not.
Watched it. Not shocked. I am a bad person. My mind kept wishfully transferring Berties face onto Buds...or Enda... bad.person. How the hell do ye find that shocking? He needed shooting for that comb-over if nothing else.

Watched it too. Didn't bother me - which kind of bothers me, to be honest. The most "disturbing aspect" is that he didn't die instantly. Seemed to take a few seconds. That could have been a very long, or very short few seconds for Budd. Scary.

Instant death is not easily obtained even with a gunshot to the head, those last seconds, minutes must be very scary and strange. Hanging is another method which can last a lot longer than than the person intended it to, especially if its botched, a short drop leads to prolonged strangulation.

This is true. Not just because its extremely graphic but also because the soldiers they kill are quiet young.Teenagers aged 18 - 19.
One of them cries and begs for his life.
I watched a lot of disturbing videos and that one really is awful. You never forget it

I saw this earlier, it's not gory but after he shoots himself, there's a second or two before he flops forward on to the ground.

It just seemed like an unnatural movement and it was very disturbing.

Funny, but I think this one would bother me. Also, the Russian serial killers and drug dealers with chain saws is not something I want to see. But that suicide video does not bother me. The fore does not bother me. I find the thoughts of someone actually taking someone else's like a terrible thing. The centre of the universe is in each and every one of us, and I find it profoundly disturbing that someone would take that away from someone.

I'm sure the above makes no sense. Sorry.

Edit: Jesus, I found like a bleedin' hippy!

    Yes, very wry observation.

I think videos of exhumations might be the most difficult to view. Many police colleges show these as part of training. Not pretty I'd imagine to view the breaking of a sealed coffin and the body of somebody who has only been dead for a year or so.

Just watched that Bud Dwyer video. Nasty video.

Also, just by putting his name into google the video was the 4th result. Thats also messed up.

I googled Budd Dwyer and thought about watching the video, decided against it though. Probably for the best.

What was the name of the docu, do you know?

The comments just above mine have really annoyed me. People making off the cuff remarks about a man taking his own life without even doing basic research.

The person who made the allegations against Budd Dwyer retracted his statements. So this was an innocent man who was driven to blow his brains out. That's the real story.

It's kind of odd. When there was talk of the girl that died in Japan, the girl that died in Mauritius people jumped on others for speculating and making light of the whole thing.

This guy in America blows his head off and he's fair game.

I know that people might be horrified at the footage, but like another poster mentioned it happened and its there for us all to see. It shows how much pressure this poor man was put under, no human being should ever feel that alone or isolated no matter what they've done in life. Think of that the next time you criticise somebody you don't know..

The timing seems like he was watching an even more delayed feed, or they didn't cut his monitor feed so he didn't realise they were back on him already.

The other way round, he would have had a live feed, so he seen it 5 seconds before the tv audience did, and was trying to get it cut within the 5 seconds of the event happening.

I watched a bit of the chase last night, went to bed before it finished. Shocking stuff

But the TV coverage shows bloke shooting himself and falling to the ground, then a couple of seconds later the pictures cut to the presenter, then he starts shouting about cutting the feed. If the feed from the helicopter was delayed by 5 seconds then the video/ audio of the presenter must be delayed going out as well, but something doesn't add up with the timing of what was actually shown.
