Hi all! We have been experiencing an issue on site where threads have been missing the latest postings. The platform host Vanilla are working on this issue. A workaround that has been used by some is to navigate back from 1 to 10+ pages to re-sync the thread and this will then show the latest posts. Thanks, Mike.

Would be just like Spurs to win :( I'm going 2-1 Utd

Spurs to have Defoe up front so no high balls in which we can't seem to cope with. Our attack should be too good for a dodgy Spurs defence.

    3-0 to United.

Spurs have a shocking record at old trafford so cant see anything but a handy home win.

Hopefully we win with the aid of a ridiculous refereeing decision. Just for the craic.

At the lane maybe. Not OT; as has been mentioned they've a very poor record there. I'll go 3-1 to United

Very true, but I don't think that time will come tomorrow. 2-0 United; Welbeck and RVP (for teh lulz).

A game that usually causes some controversy which is good for ABU on here;)

I will go 2-1 United and to be lucky to win with another poor performance.

a little bird tells me that Steve Kean only resigned so he could be available for the Utd job as this is Fergies last season ;)

AVB to spring a surprise and get to the ref's before Fergie does - 1-1

    3-1 to United.

United will up their game and perform well but will give away a soft goal to an inform Defoe. He's on a good run purely because he's getting consistent game time. I just hope United play like they can.

    Wouldn't be surprised to see...
    De Gea
    Rafael Wooton Evans Evra
    Carrick Anderson
    Welbeck Rooney Kagawa
    v.Persie

Nani (if reports are true) really chose the wrong time to be a complete twat.

Score draw and probably a borefest as both teams are playing rubbish tbh.

    Utd to win a penalty!

    Utd to win a penalty!

I reckon PP wouldn't even take that bet at this stage!!!
Does anyone know if Rio is injured?

Spurs are due a big performance but I still think United will be too strong for them, hopefully its a good game, 2-1 united.

  • Registered Users, Registered Users 2 Posts: 33,709 ✭✭✭✭Cantona's Collars

According to the press, all is not well at Spurs. It's similar to the scenario at Chelsea with players unhappy with the training & tactics.
Spurs could be there for the taking today if United go at them.

17/10 a penalty will be awarded.
4/1 for United to score a penalty.
11/1 for United to miss a penalty.

With Tony V and Young injured, and Nani supposedly acting the muppet behind the scenes, it'll be interesting to see how the team lines out. Giggs on the left, Dizzy Welbz on the right?

Nani was shít last week so he should be dropped, irrespective of whether or not the bust-up story is true.

I'd like to see the following:

I think I read it on the United thread here, or maybe on Red Cafe? Some hate it, I like it. Gives some much needed street cred to young Danny when he's rollin' with Lil T-Clevz, Shinji Da Ninji and Marlow Young. ;)

#MUFC; Lindegaard, Rafael, Evra, Ferdinand, Evans, Scholes, Nani, Giggs, Carrick, Kagawa, van Persie. Rooney on bench

#THFC; Friedel, Verthongen, Gallas, Caulker, Walker, Dempsey, Lennon, Bale, Sandro, Defoe, Dembele.

Giggs Giggs ****ING GIGGS, looks like he's on the left?

  • Registered Users Posts: 919 ✭✭✭RVD420

No Anderson or T-Clevz, Giggs starts.
    FFS!

Dembele to take the piss out of us again.

F**k sake, what does he see in Giggs for the tougher games.

  • Registered Users, Registered Users 2 Posts: 12,508 ✭✭✭✭Mr.Crinklewood

#MUFC Subs: De Gea, Anderson, Rooney, Hernandez, Welbeck, Cleverley, Wooton

When I disagree with a team lineup I can normally see the reasoning behind the said lineup.

With Giggs I can see no reason why he should start.

Unbelievable that Giggs starts, he must be on the left too. ****ing unbelievable.

    Friedel,
    Walker, Gallas, Caulker, Verthongen ,
    ----Sandro, Dembele
    Lennon,Dempsey, Bale,
    Defoe

Decent line up I guess Gallas possibly weakest member of the team.

I have a great feeling about this game. United to win 2-1. Should be a cracking game. Defoe to grab a goal with Scholes and RVP getting United's two.

  • Banned (with Prison Access) Posts: 936 ✭✭✭Prick!

Giggs offers nothing going forward anymore. It's an awful decision.

  • Registered Users, Registered Users 2 Posts: 9,153 ✭✭✭everdead.ie

Spurs subs Lloris, Dawson, Huddlestone, Falque, Sigurdsson, Townsend and Mason

    Ade still injured

Giggs is Utds most experienced player ever. Thats probably why SAF the most successful manager in England picks him for the big games.

I'd rather a better player over the experienced player in general.

If he stayed until he was 50 would you say the same?
    Players decline, fact of life.

His experience certainly helped us at Anfield. Couldn't close anyone down and couldn't pass.
