Hi all! We have been experiencing an issue on site where threads have been missing the latest postings. The platform host Vanilla are working on this issue. A workaround that has been used by some is to navigate back from 1 to 10+ pages to re-sync the thread and this will then show the latest posts. Thanks, Mike.

Vertonghen having a stormer so far.

Ball retention is nonexistent, making Spurs look like Barca.
    Giggs the chief culprit.

  • Registered Users, Registered Users 2 Posts: 17,190 ✭✭✭✭IvySlayer

Good man Giggs, pissed the ball away again.

    Some run by Giggs there

I'm watching Dembele with green eyes, exactly what United need. Would rather him in the squad than three strikers on the bench.

No creativity. feck sake. Another **** performance to add to the rest. we're winning nothing this season like this.

One Dembele raping at Old Trafford wasn't enough for the season, looks like we're going to be treated to another today on the evidence so far.

Awful 20 minutes from Utd. Getting schooled by Sprus.

Shinji is so calm on the ball, confidence in his own ability.

United just never have anyone looking for the ball in the middle of the park.

  • Banned (with Prison Access) Posts: 936 ✭✭✭Prick!

    RvP not taking the corner.

  • Registered Users, Registered Users 2 Posts: 11,906 ✭✭✭✭PhlegmyMoses

Evra lazy as ****. Nani making the same errors doing the simple things. Giggs making a run and being too knackered to track back. It's like groundhog day.

  • Registered Users Posts: 521 ✭✭✭steps_3314

Why only one striker for Utd. We're at home FFS.

Being bossed like we're playing away from home.

Is Wellbeck injured...thought Rooney might have started.

Too negative...spurs width will be too much if this isn't changed

He looks clueless and has since his second game.

I like him as a player but he hasn't impressed me for United yet.

    Utd fans missing Vidic already?

  • Registered Users, Registered Users 2 Posts: 34,424 ✭✭✭✭The_Kew_Tour

Game over. Never said that this early in United game. Just not going to happen.

  • Registered Users, Registered Users 2 Posts: 10,796 ✭✭✭✭Pudsy33

Playing Giggs and Scholes is ridiculous. Rio totally burned. Bollox

  • Registered Users, Registered Users 2 Posts: 38,247 ✭✭✭✭Guy:Incognito

Ferdinand needs to put some sort of a challenge in there. Even if its a late lunge to block the ball, it might be enough to make Bale scuff it a bit. Doing nothing definately wont though....

  • Registered Users, Registered Users 2 Posts: 11,589 ✭✭✭✭Necronomicon

Getting ****ing fisted in midfield has become our default mode, so sick of seeing it.

  • Banned (with Prison Access) Posts: 936 ✭✭✭Prick!

    Ah go away Giggs

  • Registered Users Posts: 521 ✭✭✭steps_3314

    SAF to blame....midfield too old.
    Negative from the start...no Rooney
Remember city last season..I'll take a 2nil loss now

Anderson & Rooney for scholes & giggs. MIght actually get some drive & creativity

  • Registered Users, Registered Users 2 Posts: 17,190 ✭✭✭✭IvySlayer

Nice to see Fergie and Phelan on the sideline encouraging them to go forwards and play better...oh wait...

  • Registered Users, Registered Users 2 Posts: 11,906 ✭✭✭✭PhlegmyMoses

How could Fergie not see this would happen? There is no pace in this team at all. Why make it even more open by playing 442?

Getting absolutely outplayed, and guess what... It's been coming.

A good beating has been coming. Got out of jail a few times but the team selection by and large has been terrible, and the players just aren't there, too many just want to give the ball to Paul Scholes and let him sort it out. It's bloody depressing to watch.

I knew this would be trouble when I saw the team sheets. Spurs have a side full of lads who will go out and try to take the game by the scruff of the neck. United side is just far too lackadaisical. If we salvage anything from this game it will be a bloody miracle.

Total mismatch in midfield, we look hopelessly out of our depth in this game.

  • Registered Users, Registered Users 2 Posts: 6,975 ✭✭✭nkay1985

That was brutal. Ran straight through the middle. How Giggs us playing, I don't know and Rio is very much on the decline.

? So far it's going to the way I said. Spurs got the 2nd, now watch for the Utd backlash. Possibly with 1 before half time. It'd hardly be the first time.

  • Closed Accounts Posts: 11,631 ✭✭✭✭Hank Scorpio

I don't blame Ferdinand there, what can he do when there's no midfield in front of him

The way it's going atm, it's going to be a case of how many Spurs can score
