Hi all! We have been experiencing an issue on site where threads have been missing the latest postings. The platform host Vanilla are working on this issue. A workaround that has been used by some is to navigate back from 1 to 10+ pages to re-sync the thread and this will then show the latest posts. Thanks, Mike.

Should of bought the powerful Dembele instead of the little jap. What do people expect honestly a 37 yr old Scholes and Michael turns like a bus Carrick in the middle of the park.
How many of Uniteds current team would get into Tottenhams??

For allowing the midfield disaster to continue for several years now? The absolutely yes.

Great first half fair enough Nani should of had a penalty but I imagine that'll be evened out at some stage in the game.

Wonder what the odds on a United 5-2 win is?

Fergie needs to look at himself, has he learned nothing from last week. Giggs was poor last week and again today. You can't keep playing old legs.

Carrick has been invisible once again.

Rooney, welbeck and Anderson need to come on soon.

How many think we'll get a draw at least?

    Wouldn't be surprised.

Far as I'm concerned amazing manager one best of all time but this is on his head. He ignores the midfield problems year after year stating well we have young players coming in but plays ****ing giggs!!! I'm getting sick of the way where playing no one fears playing Manchester united anymore we are living off a couple of great goal scorers without them ordinary. I can't see this changing anytime soon if anything will only get worse.

If we don't make big changes we will lose by more than 2

Ferguson has to take the blame for this. The team has been horrible this year.

They were horrible for most of last season too but rode their luck.
I said it last season and I'll say it again, its the worst Utd side in 15 years.

Anderson and Welbeck on for Giggs and Scholes.

Looking at the replay of the first goal, Carrick should have intercepted it just before he was about to strike it. He stopped in his tracks. :(

Come on Spurs, we want a rout.

I think De Gea may have saved Bale's goal.

Giggs has well and truly overstayed his welcome. Everytime he's been on the ball he's either ran aimlessly with it, ran into a brick wall or else misplaced his pass. Surely Büttner would have been a better option than Giggs. P1ss poor performance and I can't see it getting any better!

  • Registered Users Posts: 5,347 ✭✭✭Quandary

That first half performance might even be worse than how we played against Pool.

Giggs has become a major liability. Scholes should not be starting either. He's good for about 30 minutes towards the end of match to steady the ship. Starting him against a fresh Sandro and Dembele is a recipe for disaster. How anyone could think its a good idea is simply baffling.

Fergie has been makings some very very poor team selections recently and it's worrying to say the least.

Fergie & Co. planning to swap the 4th official's board with their own should the scoreline not be heading for a Utd win towards the end of the match.

I don't blame Ferdinand there, what can he do when there's no midfield in front of him
If you go back to when United lost possession, Bale just ghosted past Scholes like he wasn't even there.

I don't know how this could be surprising anyone. How many times have we had posts of "Sure, we were useless but we won, let's forget about the performance and move on".

This was coming for a long time tbh.

I hope United concede two at home games from now on. Because it's nice to see the league's worst supporters up on their feet.

Equally as poor as against Liverpool and Fulham, however the likes of Everton and Spurs have the ability to make the possession count.

proof that somebody has no clue.

The last time I was in Old Trafford myself and my father tried to get a sing song going. We were pretty much told to shut up by people seated around us. That's all the 'clue' I need. I'll always support United, and I'll always put money their way on merchandise, etc. But I'm not sitting in the middle of that embarrassment anymore.
