Hi
I have 2 cells set up inside an electric gate to open the gate once beam is broken as someone drives out from the farm ,this system is not ideal as anything that breaks the beam bird etc opens gate,i wanted to use an induction loop but the ground is just loose stones and some heavy machinery passes regularly which would dig up the loop.Question is there any other suitable system available?

Or you could raise the beams up higher off the ground

Maybe get the ground at the gate tarmacd ,then cut the loop into the tarmac

Place the induction loop in 20mm plastic conduit, lay into ground maybe 1 foot deep and cover over with dry mix or concrete.

Would the induction loop work buried a foot deep?

There is a gsm intercom for the gate but he wants a way of letting someone back out once hes let them in without having to contact him.
