Making a kitchen

A friend asked me if I'd make a kitchen for him, he reckoned it would work out cheaper than buying one.

Doing the carcass would be no problem, but where do you but doors, knobs, countertop etc? Are they standard sizes? Can you buy vaneered MDF? I'm in Meath, but anywhere in the East or Midlands would do.

Hoeys DIY in castlebellingham, carry a great range of finsa flat pack carcasses, all made from 18mm chipboard melamine, they also carry the doors and pelmets and cornice, though these may have to be ordered in advance, though samples are available to choose from.

Noyeks and NAA will sell doors and counter tops along with handles etc.
