Hi all! We have been experiencing an issue on site where threads have been missing the latest postings. The platform host Vanilla are working on this issue. A workaround that has been used by some is to navigate back from 1 to 10+ pages to re-sync the thread and this will then show the latest posts. Thanks, Mike.

Liverpool will hope a strong record against Norwich City in the Premier League will bring their first top-flight win of the season on Saturday.

Brendan Rodgers has yet to record a domestic three points since moving to Anfield, including last weekend's defeat by Manchester United, and will be desperate to address the struggles.

West Bromwich Albion were beaten at the beginning of Liverpool's League Cup defence in midweek but the Premier League is the priority.

And Rodgers will be pleased to know he has inherited a club record of having won five and lost none of the last six Premier League matches against Norwich.

Liverpool are also unbeaten in their last four visits to Carrow Road, winning the last three in a row, including Luis Suarez's hat-trick in this fixture last season.

Norwich have endured similar struggles in the Premier League and, like Rodgers, Chris Hughton has yet to record a win.

They sit just one place and point above relegation zone occupants Liverpool but Doncaster were defeated in the Capital One Cup on Wednesday and there could be some momentum.

    Possible Lineups:

Norwich (Possible, 4-4-2): Ruddy; Martin, Barnett, Turner, Garrido; Snodgrass, Howson, Johnson, Surman; Hoolahan; Morison.

    Liverpool (Possible, 4-3-3)

But...but...but you said you were going to stop starting match threads!

Taking this into account, I predict a 4-0 win for Norwich :p

Hope Norwich get battered. Nice club, good supporters, and I like Hughton, but they scarred the mind of a younger Kess as he stood on the Kop in 1994.

Thanks to Jeremy Goss I just want a big win every time we meet Norwich.

Delia had better batten down the hatches, I'm cracking out Conan for this game.

Today is the day Suso announces himself, Sterling style!!
First time in a long time ive been excited to watch a Liverpool game, fully expecting a hammering for Norwich with Suarez grabbing 2.

We played well last week so......3-0 Norwich, and a nice interview from The Rodgers.

All the frustrations of the start of this season are going to come to a head and I think Norwich are going to be the unfortunate recipients of our fury. Suarez to get two, Sterling to get one, Assaidi to come on late to give a final scoreline of 4-0. The Rodgers detractors are going to be eating an awful lof of humble pie.

Can't see either team keeping a clean sheet. 1-1 or 2-1 to Liverpool.

    Must win match for LFC.

Don't understand risking a half-injured Agger when Coates can more than do a job for us.

I hate when you lot are expecting a win - Usually ends up in Disaster - I predict a great show - 43 strikes to come off the post, 7 penalties against us and to finish 6 - 0 down with 4 players left on the pitch! Followed by a Fantastic Interview with Brodge!

  • Registered Users, Registered Users 2 Posts: 3,629 ✭✭✭magma69

Brendan Rogers first team picks this season have been excellent. Not afraid to change things up. That's an exciting attacking minded team there. Take back my draw prediction. 2-1 Liverpool! :D

Two teams that have a combined total of 10 games with no wins, has a draw written all over it. :)

Seriously though, I expect a comfortable victory for Liverpool here, interesting lineup that will have far too much for the Norwich defence.
Liverpool to have a ridiculous amount of attempts on goal with enough going in to win.
    I'll go with 1-3.
