Hi all! We have been experiencing an issue on site where threads have been missing the latest postings. The platform host Vanilla are working on this issue. A workaround that has been used by some is to navigate back from 1 to 10+ pages to re-sync the thread and this will then show the latest posts. Thanks, Mike.

Is it just me, or do you also find your self more and more bored, the more you spend time online?

There are times when I feel like trowing the computer against the wall.
You go online, check your email and normal sites and after awhile it just gets stale.
I think, after more than 10 years spening at least 1 hour a day online it is finally starting to wear thin on me.

Mabey I am alone on this one?

Same sh.. different day it just seems to me.

I am this "Close" to picking up a novel and getting lost in it...

No you're not alone. I too find myself completely bored of it yet I don't turn it off.

Not sure about getting bored - I love information, so the internet is a dream to me, I can google away and find out what i need to know. I also love a good debate/sarcy comment/arguement, so thats there too. What I slightly question is how much time you can lose on the net - there might be more productive things to be doing?

Its only boring if you're doing boring things on it. If you're like me and just refreshing AH every now and then in the hope someone posted something funny then you'll be fierce bored before long

The internet is the most boring crap filled place that exists right up until you have real things to do, then all of a sudden it becomes this captivating, informative playground.

you've just described after hours pretty well but the internet in general, definitely not! That's like saying life is boring, maybe you need to stop going to the 'normal' sites.

Stumbled across this site today. It's a perception of what the world will be like in the future. Lots of interesting stuff in it from 2013 all the way through the next couple of centuries and beyond. You can go as far into the future as you like on it and it will predict what the world will be like at any given time.

Should kill the boredom for a while

How about going away for a bit, thinking up questions you'd really like the answer to and then searching for them online! Access to information and all that jazz.

I too had started to grow weary of teh internets. So I started using "StumbleUpon" in an attempt to find something to occupy my time.

Found this today. A load of 30 second animations of bunnies reenacting famous movies.

    Shit just got serious.

In the final stages of addiction even a heroin addict stops getting a buzz. Anything that you do too much will eventually become stale.

Nah, internet shopping never gets boring :)
I do find myself spending less time online than I used to though, yep. Certain sites I love can be a real time suck so I limit my time on them or else I get nothing done.

There's only so much work to go around Pottler, pace yourself. Every minute you spend online is a minute creating jobs, so surf often and surf proudly.
