Hi all! We have been experiencing an issue on site where threads have been missing the latest postings. The platform host Vanilla are working on this issue. A workaround that has been used by some is to navigate back from 1 to 10+ pages to re-sync the thread and this will then show the latest posts. Thanks, Mike.

30 euro for a zombie map and a soundtrack CD  Xtravision are such a rip off, it been years since I bought anything in there.

I'm a sucker for the special editions though.. I actually thought about getting the Care Package :o

Anyone know if Tesco Ballybrack will sell it at midnight?

  • Registered Users, Registered Users 2 Posts: 53,262 ✭✭✭✭GavRedKing

Tesco Mahon Point in Cork is €45 apparently.

Posted by one of my friends on FB.

Edit : Who works in that Tesco.

It crazy though when you still need to buy the DLC after that when 100 euro last year got you all the dlc. Id rather just get the season pass over the hardened edition and its just a €10 more.

I hope that i get mine tomorrow off gamestop.ie!

Smyths told me €59.99 for the standard edition. Really disappointing as I've bought it for <€50 at midnight release there for the last 3 COD's.

Can't fathom paying an extra €15 for the standard edition in Xtravision/Smyths/Gamestop when Tesco have it for €45 and HMV won't be much more expensive.

I found that as many of the people I play with didn't buy the DLC, I rarely got to play them anyway...

when black ops 1 came out tesco had it for €45 only for midnight release, they brought the prices back up later that day

  • Registered Users, Registered Users 2 Posts: 1,860 ✭✭✭Bummer1234

Seen a stand for it in super valu in swords in the Boromihe Shopping centre and asked how much and the woman told me fairly confidently it was gonna be selling at €39.99.

  • Registered Users, Registered Users 2 Posts: 14,942 ✭✭✭✭ShaneU

  • Closed Accounts Posts: 2,382 ✭✭✭firestarter51

just rang another tesco, they have 30 normal editions and 30 limited, i am guessing he means hardened edition. he wont give me a price though, but they will be the cheapest, they are hoping people do a bit of shopping

I rang tesco in wilton cork today they have nearly 400, mostly nuketown version and they have it on sale at midnight. The guy said it will be €45. That's way cheaper than anywhere else i've checked!!!

Any tescos in dublin city centre selling this at midnight? They said on their fb that MW3 was on sale at Jervis last year, but not a mention of black ops on their fb this year.

Yeah, Tesco Dundrum are selling it for €45 at midnight. I was asking like three different people and no one could tell me the price until a stand popped up saying they were selling tonight at midnight.

Can anyone tell me if they will be the bonus versions, as far as I'm aware first stock generally is even though they aren't doing any pre-orders.

Anyone have any suggestions for an online retailer (cheaper than Steam) for the PC version?

Actually, ignore me, I've gone with ElectronicFirst, I've bought off them before and didn't have any problems.

I went to gamestop Newbridge, they want 57.99 for BLOPS 2 and if you didnt pre-order you don't get nuketown 2012.

Naas Tesco sold it to me for 44.99 and all copies have Nuketown 2012.

On top of that the pear shaped guy working in Newbridge Gamestop bounce off the walls like he wants a few british broadcasters to run a train on his booty & he honestly pi$$ed me off with his strange way of talking down to customers. weird fawkin kawnt. Stay safe brahs

I just bought the hardened edition of the game and now I'm downloading nuketown 2025 but I'm wondering if I'll get all future maps included or will I have to buy them seperately?

No just an advert for the season pass and a pathetic excuse for an instruction manual.

Going to pop up to Tesco soon. Will it have a sticker or something on the front if it has the nuketown map?

  • Registered Users, Registered Users 2 Posts: 1,403 ✭✭✭The Gnome

On the back of the box it will say 'Includes Nuketown 2025 bonus map', there's nothing on the front.
