Hi all! We have been experiencing an issue on site where threads have been missing the latest postings. The platform host Vanilla are working on this issue. A workaround that has been used by some is to navigate back from 1 to 10+ pages to re-sync the thread and this will then show the latest posts. Thanks, Mike.

Dell Studio connected to Samsung LCD television by HDMI - no longer working?

    Hello,

I purchased a 32" Samsung LCD television less than six months ago, along with a Bush 2 metre HDMI cable to connect it to my Dell Studio laptop. Everything had been running smoothly for months, and I was able to watch films in glistening HD on my new television.

All of a sudden, the connection between the two devices is no longer working. Now I am greeted with the following message

    No Signal

Check connected device's power, cable connection, and source selection.

The laptop still works fine, the television still seems to work fine. I went out and bought a new HDMI cable, but am greeted with the same message.

I have no idea why it is suddenly doing this. I've tried switching between the different HDMI ports on the television - there are two, 1 (DVI) and 2 - but to no avail.

Can someone please help me with this? I am hoping the solution is relatively straightforward.

Have you tried the other HDMI slots on the tv? Have you tried any other electronic in the HDMI on the tv?

FN button and button between F1-F12 which has the display of a projector. Might have just hid the wrong buttons on laptop by mistake to stop it working
