    Get one in France?
Get something without a physical keyboard (iPad?) so you can change the keyboard type...
    Ebay?

Well as far as I know, in Windows you can change the default language, so where the keys will still have the irish layout printed on them, they will function exactly as a laptop she had got in France.

    Order from Pixmania.fr: http://www.pixmania.com/fr/fr/11812919/art/acer/aspire-5733-384g50mn.html
Bear in mind this laptop will have a French keyboard built-in. It might be more versatile to use an external French USB keyboard, with a standard UK/English laptop instead. You can get light and foldable USB keyboards now.
